Pop Warner "Little Scholars" Program

Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. (PWLS) is the only national youth sports organization in America that requires its participants to perform adequately in the classroom before permitting them to play.

Each year, the most academically accomplished Pop Warner kids compete for Academic All-American status. This process begins at the association level and continues up through each of the eight Pop Warner regions to the national level.

About OPAA Football

OPAA belongs to the Pop Warner National Organization. We are one of 11 associations who play in the First Coast Conference. We have 9 teams in 5 weight divisions who compete. At the end of the season, the winner of each weight division represents the First Coast Conference in Regional playoffs. Our regular season runs from August 1st and can go up to the end of November. We hope you enjoy playing football at OPAA.

Jr. Pee Wee	8, 9 and 10 yrs of age weighing 60 - 105 lbs	OR 11 year olds less than 85 lbs.
Pee Wee	9,10 and 11 yrs of age weighing 75 - 120 lbs	OR 12 year olds less than 100 lbs.
Jr. Midget	10, 11 and 12 yrs of age weighing 85 - 135 lbs.	OR 13 year olds less than 115 lbs.
Midget	11, 12, 13 and 14 yrs of age weighing 105 - 160 lbs	OR 15 year olds less than 140 lbs
