- The President of the Association
shall chair the Committee.

- Other members shall be the
Commissioners of the leagues or divisions of the
athletic program involved.
|
- The Committee must provisionally
approve all Coaches and Assistants for all athletic
programs.
|
- Formal Coaching Applications must
be submitted to the Committee prior to the start of each
athletic program. Returning Managers and Coaches
must submit a new application.
|
- The Committee shall screen all
applicants on the basis of:
a. Previous
experience and record b. Knowledge of the sport
c. Leadership and organizational ability d.
Judged willingness and ability to promote the objectives
of the Association e. Moral character f.
A criminal background check will be run on each Coach
and Manager every two years.

- The Screening Committee will
submit a roster of screened applicants to the Board for
approval. The roster shall indicate those
applicants to be approved under probationary status.

- The President will keep coaching
applications and evaluation forms on file.
|
- Specific procedures for
assignment of Managers and Coaches are outlined in the
Bylaws under Instructional and Competitive League Rules.
